The actuarial profession is built around a rigorous qualification system: education, examinations, practical experience and continuing professional development (CPD).

Foundational education
Mathematics, probability theory, statistics, finance, economics.
02
Candidate
Entry into the QCA qualification system; at least one examination passed.
03
Associate Member
The requirements of the initial professional level have been met.
04
Full Member (Actuary)
The requirements of the full professional level have been met.
05
CPD
Continuing professional development throughout one's career.

min. 6 hCode of Conduct, review of ASOP/QCA standards, legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Additional hours
up to 29 hAt the actuary's discretion from any recognised type of activity.

RECORD-KEEPING (CPD LOG)
- 1Each certified actuary keeps a CPD Log: date, activity, hours, category and a brief description of how the knowledge applies.
- 2The log, with supporting documents, is submitted annually to the QCA Education and Qualification Committee.
- 3The Committee maintains records, verification and a public registry of completed CPD programmes on the Chamber's official website.
